The
application process to study at German universities has become, in
recent years, more complicated: some German require that applicants
apply through the “ASSIST” program, while others do
not; some universities require you to provide additional documents such
as a personal statement, TOEFL-Test or proof of language
proficiency. Furthermore, most of the paperwork is only
available in German. Who is able to understand all of the
details of this process?
In
cooperation with the International Centre at the University of
Rostock, we are able to help guide you through the application process,
and help you find out what you need to send, when you need to send, and
to whom it must be sent.
Participant
service
We
support our students with visa applications, to organising travel
arrangements, to finding living accomodations, health insurance, and
transportation after arrival in Germany.
Tutorials
For all German courses, we have tutors available who can help, for
example with the beginning courses. The tutored accompanying
programs offer, for example, city tours and weekend
excursions. Of course, the accompanying programs also help
you to get to know the university and its students better.
